Kilimanjaro, TZ – Strong marketing plays major role in our business growth in Mkyashi Village Community – 31 Dec 2022
What a joyfully day when women from Lishe Jamii Vicoba receives their first loan from Lishe Bora through their supports program from Better Lives.
Lishe Jamii is a group of small entrepreneurship women from Mkyashi Village in Moshi Tanzania. The group was able to make a mutual relationship with Lishe Bora by participating directly on working on Kisuluni primary school’s vegetable and banana gardens which are feeding the children and teachers on their every school day breakfast. This relationship is a key to Lishe Bora towards Kisuluni primary school feeding program sustainability as the women will eventually take full ownership of the work and mentoring practices in this school’s gardens while the women as a group will gain benefits of stress free, enjoyable and easy to pay small loans for investing on their nutritious flour business.
Lishe Jamii have used portion of their loan to own their Nutritious flour Logo which is going to help them reaches more people through this marketing strategy and in turn they will expand their business and make more money of their own. As they can make more money from this business they are expected to save time they are currently uses for other activities and uses the time to work more on the schools vegetable and banana gardens with Children and teachers.
Lishe Jamii is hoping to expand its production capacity in the future so as to supply higher amounts of the flours in all the year as currently there are facing a challenge of flour ingredients drying during the wet season as the only way of drying it’s a local means of open the ingredients on direct sun and low working capital.
