Siem Reap, KH – Rey presents Sareun and Aikon the title for their home and land – 31 Jul 2021

Rey Diez, manager of Peaksneng Thormacheat Garden Shop, is so very happy to present Sareun and Aikon with their ownership title for their Rent-to-Own home. It is a dream come true for them all because they were the first home in the North East corner of the Rent-to-Own community when they started renting in January 2015.

Their home helped unite their family in Peaksneng and created a feeling of love and comfort that enabled them to find a sense of purpose for their lives. Sareun and Aikon have been a good example of healthy and happy living that is motivating their own and other families and children. The challenges of poor education, low income and resulting hardship are fading a little in their memories now that they have a home they can call their own.

Sareun is amazed that he and Aikon now own their home because when he was young he dreamed of living in a place of his own but never imagined it would come true. Until recently, he also did not expect to be able to look forward to retiring in his mid 60’s. He is now 64!
