Siem Reap, KH – Young family looks to FAITH Garden for consistent income and nutrition – 22 October 2013

thumbnail_bon chat new faith gardenMr. BKC is the son of the commune leader in Peaksneng. He owns a piece of land that was given to him by his father. He planted fruit trees on the land two years ago and he is now harvesting fruit to sell and feed his family. However, the fruit trees are very seasonal, so Mr. BKC has requested a FAITH Garden to provide his family with more consistent income and food.

Mr. BKC and his wife have two children, age 5 and 3. Mrs. BKC is a housewife and she also helps manage the family farm. Rey and Mr. BKC have known each other for years now, since Rey first arrived in Peaksneng. Rey knows Mr. BKC is a hard working person so he was eager to assist him and his family.

On September 7 Rey and his team worked with the BKC family – including the children – to build a FAITH Garden. They are excited to see how the garden develops and improves the families’ lives.
