HR with his wife and children will move into a new build house in the Peaksneng Rent-to-Own (RTO) home community soon. He is so grateful because he could not believe that one day he would be able to have a beautiful RTO house for his family. The house’s sustainable design is good for his family’s spirit and cost effective! His patience and positive values have made this dream come true. He says that the best thing about a home is that it’s “a first sustainable step toward breaking the cycle of poverty”.

This is because having a secure place to live enables people to focus on other sustainable living needs, like food, employment and providing education for their children. For this reason, the RTO program of Peaksneng shop continues to create lasting change, by providing trusted qualified families not just with homes but with hope and opportunity for the future.

For over 10 years Peaksneng Shop, in collaboration with Better Lives for children, has operated the program to transform the lives of approximately thirty families in Peaksneng village by assisting them to have safe, affordable and good quality housing.
