Ngara, TZ – TMH crop trading and shop businesses – Jun 2023
TMH’s staple crops trading business is growing sustainably, and now he has launched a retail and supply shop business in town through Vicoba savings after fully owning a motorcycle for delivery services.
His motorcycle continues contributing to the growth of his business through monthly Vicoba saving and supplying service for his vital customers who purchase big quantities of food for homes and business. TMH added more crops to the shop such as 200 Kgs of green and 300 Kgs of kidney beans to the business cycle due to its high demand creating profits. He also added 1,200 Kgs of corn and 95 Kgs of groundnuts from his own field harvests this year. TMH earns a net income of 25,000 TZS per day from the shop and delivery services. He has paid the first three month shop room rental fee and purchased weighing scales for the business.
“Wherever there is success, also there are also challenges” says TMH. The business needs working capital of 2,500,000 TZS to finance successful growth of bulk purchasing crops and selling to the business companies and feeding organizations for more future profit.
TMH committed to continue collaborating with MVG Vicoba and SODAT for mentorship, savings and loans for the successful growth in businesses self-sufficiency. He also believes in reducing time as a cook so he can spend more time for business and volunteering to assist schools with breakfast serving for better children’s health and performance for their future families and community development.
