Battambang, KH – Sisters have one hour walk to school – 30 Apr, 2019

The SKK sisters 13 and 9 years old, in grade 6 and 4, are walking together to and from school for one hour every morning and afternoon.

The eldest is a good student who wants to qualify to be a teacher when she graduates. While her younger sister enjoys art and drawing, and hopes to become a well known artist one day!

They are both studying very hard at school, and their parents are working equally hard to support their education because they want to give their daughters an opportunity for good futures in their lives.

The girls are facing the challenge of the long walk to school. To solve this problem, their parents are trying hard to earn and save additional money so that they can buy a bicycle for them to share for their journey to school.
