The chicken banda project in Kindwitwi is proceeding according to plan. While the team hasn’t increased yields beyond expectations – as they were hoping to do – they continue to meet their revenue goals and sell around two crates of thirty eggs per day.

The group is sticking with is plan of paying off its loan for a few months and the reinvesting in project growth after they have proven their ability to maintain high productivity for a longer period of time.

So far all of the team’s loan payments have been made in full and on time and they are feeling secure about their ability to continue at this pace for the foreseeable future. When the time comes that the group feels comfortable investing in growth, they will be in a good position to succeed with months of experience under their belts and a large banda.
