Battambang, KH – Vegetable sales pay for school supplies – 26 Jan 2014

PY has done a good job caring for her garden which produces vegetables very well.  She just harvested morning glory from two raised beds. From one of the beds she harvested 20 Kg that  she sold to the market for US$0.50 per Kg.  She is using this money to buy school materials for  her grand children.

She has been experiencing a small problem with the soil being salty. The soil and has never been planted before, so this problem has been solved by mixing in compost.
