Utete, TZ – OTM family garden – 11 Oct 2013

The OTM family is harvesting mchicha and matembele (potato leaves), and hope to harvest mung beans, tomatoes and eggplants in November.  The KCM garden team has advised OTM to apply mulch whenever possible, as protection from the intense sun at this time of the year.  The natural pesticide spray, which the KCM garden shop provided, seems to be effective because she is not having pest problems.
