Utete, TZ – Kindwitwi garden shop update – 16 Jul 2013

The KCM garden shop’s lead trainer, Yusa Mbonde, had a training clinic for the 6 families who will be establishing gardens in late July and early August.  Yusa taught the mamas all about the organic practices they will use in the gardens, how to make sure that they will be able to harvest consistently throughout the year, and how to make compost!  The mamas were very excited to learn some new farming techniques and are eager to start gardens of their own.
