Moshi, TZ – JO family visit – 28 Feb 2013

The JO family and Tupendane team built the garden 25 January, and they are looking forward to putting some of the early maturing vegetables on their plate in the next two weeks.

The garden was built in earth basins and so the watering has been by pumping water into the earth basins at a sufficient rate.  The weeding is being done well, but there is room to improve the effectiveness of the natural pesticide spraying because some pests are on the plants.  The family is enthusiastic about the garden and want to start a commercial one.
