Caba PH – Q family mentoring visit – 15 Feb 2013

The Q family have enough vegetable production for the whole family from their 100 square meter garden, the Happy Shine Garden Shop bought native patola seeds from them, because they are not hybrid and are easy to grow.

They and their neighbors are experiencing problems with the drought. Their neighbors are fetching water from the Q family’s hand pump well, which has become drained of water due to the high use of water.  Even the nearby deep well for the local school, which that Happy Shine Garden Shop’s partner Quest built, cannot cope with the water demand from the school at the moment.
