Battambang, KH – Well digger builds own vegetable garden – 8 Mar 2013

GP the well driller, who had worked so hard to try and find water for PK, is a kind and helpful man, and  he asked if Rey’s team could help him start a vegetable garden that could feed his family.  Phea and Rey responded by softening the soil on his land with water and then breaking it up.  It was hard work in 37 degree sun.

They worked with the GP family and RM his assistant well digger to mix in compost and rice hull charcoal to form the raised beds.

They then added net fencing to protect the garden from animals.
