Siem Reap, KH – Father knows he will be able to earn steady income with land of his own – 1 Jun 2019
Mr. PRS knows that, if he had his own home and land, he could become financially self-reliant. He hopes Peaksneng Thormacheat’s Rent-to-Own affordable housing program will give him that opportunity.
Mr. PRS first learned about Peaksneng Thormacheat when he moved to his parents home. His parents had started a vegeteable garden with Peaksneng Thormacheat and they had received a pig loan from the organization. Mr. PRS developed a close working relationship with employees of the organization because he became very interested in organic gardening and he was the primary family member responsible for maintaining the garden.
Mr. PRS, his wife, and their two children still share a home with Mr. PRS’ parents. Mr. PRS has a small field where he grows corn and cassava and he works as a day laborer on other people’s farms. He has experience raising livestock, so he feels confident that if he had his own home and space to raise livestock he could earn a steady income and support his family.
