Lishe Bora’s Kilimanjaro Catering team and contracted catering experts are collaborating to earn sustaining income and assist their community to improve their health.
The catering business is starting to contribute to the Lishe Bora team’s income, which is key to the sustainability of the Grow-own-Breakfast (GOB) program at Kisuluni and Lasso primary schools. When this catering bussiness is full matured it is expected to pay Lishe Bora team salaries for their time assisting the GOB program at the above schools. This will not only mean sustainability assurance at the two schools, but also enable Lishe Bora to extend assistance to other schools like Lego primary.
The business is making both better health of the adult community and sustainability of the GOB program possible. It now wants to invest for business growth by reducing hiring costs and opening up more market opportunities in 2024.
