Ngara, TZ – MKB laptop and printer improving school academics – May 2023

Mukibogoye Primary School staff, and students thank SODAT for the office equipment support that will assist students to grow academically.

The school received a laptop and printer to save time, energy and running costs of printing over 1,015 students’ examination papers. The school is 20Km away from Ngara town, which was the nearest place to print the papers. Each year, the number of students grows because of the success of the Grow-own-Breakfast program that feeds the children every school day. The breakfast has raised the students’ attendance and performance, and made parents register more students at this school.

Class three to seven are taking seven subjects and take each subject test every semester. This makes a huge number of exam papers for the printer to produce. The school is also testing classes one and two, printing monthly tests, and recording the Grow-own-Breakfast servings and ingredients for the students. Therefore the school hopes to agree with parents to contribute some additional money for buying an additional larger printer so the school can provide a larger printing service to Mukibogoye and nearby schools in the district, so that they can become self-reliant for their printing needs.
