Kilimanjaro, TZ – EVM Family benefits from two years of FAITH gardening – 15 July 2020

EVM Family first started their garden in 2018 with Lishe Bora, since then they have enjoyed two years of plentiful vegetables and family savings from the FAITH garden.

EVM family consists of six children. Some are studying and the others are employed and living their own lives. EVM mother enjoys running the vegetable garden as a side business to earn some extra money from the garden’s over productive qualities.

With the garden, she has been able to purchase books and soap for her children going to school. Additionally she’s been able to afford paying for an new waterline being built in the area.

However, due to the location of her garden on the side of the road, she faces some thieves who steal some of her vegetables.

She hopes to continue gardening using the FAITH design. She loves that she does not have to buy from the market and risk eating chemically grown vegetables
