The Healthy Life Garden Shop has sold their first batch of pigs and earned US$138 profit! The small business employs GP’s wife to take care of the pigs giving her a much needed income. She works hard taking care of the pigs and they were big enough to sell after only four months.

The five pigs that Healthy Life bought for US$60 each, sold for an average of US$197 each! After deducting feed, medicine, and GP’s wife’s salary, they earned US$138. Healthy Life Garden Shop now plans to purchase ten pigs to fatten which they expect will earn them US$500 profit after 4 months.

The cost of feed was their biggest expense, so they are looking at ways to reduce the cost of the feed.
