Utete,TZ – MHK family garden – 20 Sep 2013

MHK has been harvesting her mchicha, Chinese cabbage, and okra.  She has also relay planted two new beds of mchicha to assure continuous supply.  She has been feeding her family and also supplying some of the vegetables to her small “restaurant” business.

Like most of the gardens in Kindwitwi, she is having a challenge with chickens eating some of her cabbages, so she has asked the garden shop team if she can reinforce her fence with long grasses.
