The ATN family has started harvesting mchicha, okra, and Chinese cabbage. The family has been eating well, and are also able to sell surplus vegetables.

Chickens are a problem with families that live in the middle of the village because the villagers practice “free range” grazing, which means they let their chickens simply roam around the village finding their own food. The chickens are breaking through the fence netting and eating some of the vegetables. ATN is in the process of rebuilding a more robust fence.
