Dar es Salaam, TZ – Molly’s Network Assesses 9 Organizations in Q1 2015 – 12 May 2015
In the first quarter of 2015 Molly’s Network performed 9 organizational assessments of its member organizations. 3 of the organizations showed enough capacity that they were able to move through Molly’s Network’s accreditation path.
Community Health Education Service and Advocacy was earned a “High Potential” assessment. The organization provides education and support to “key populations” (sex-workers and members of the LGBT community) at risk of sexual danger and advocates for the rights of those populations.
Open Mind Tanzania earned an “Almost-Accredited” assessment. The youth-led organization supports graduates through loans and leadership training.
Finally, Bridge2Aid earned a full Molly’s Network accreditation. Bridge2Aid is based in Mwanza and provides dental care to underprivileged communities.
Earning a full accreditation provides organizations with access to Molly’s Network’s network of donors, and communicates to the donors that the organization is an effective and efficient organization contributing to local and national development goals through contextually relevant approaches to development.
