Kilimanjaro, TZ – RWA Family – 9 Dec 2013

The RWA family is really starting to put in a lot of effort and it shows in her garden. They are applying sufficient water and additional manure and the vegetables are coming in well and providing food. Their garden is small so there isn’t a lot of excess vegetables to sell, but the family is enjoying the additional food and nutritional diversity.

Zucchinis were one of RWA’s most successful crops – they produced at a high level and the family loved the taste. However, the zucchinis recently ended their productive period so the family is preparing that space for a new crop and trying to decide what to plant.
