Utete,TZ – AMN family garden – 20 Sep 2013

Mama AMN has been harvesting her mchicha and Chinese cabbage for selling in the village and for her family to eat.  The sun has been very strong recently so the KCM garden team has advised her to put mulch, which does not attract termites, on her beds.

The garden team has been helping her locate some more carrot seeds to plant with her tomatoes, because her first batch of carrots failed and tomatoes grow well close to carrots!
