Moshi, TZ – AMU family garden update – 1 Aug 2013
The AMU family were relieved that they were able to harvest many pumpkins after the flood despite the damage to the other crops caused by the major floods in April. Pumpkins are a good rainy season crop! They rebuilt the beds that were washed away with compost and rice hull ash, and established their own seedling beds. The family replanted their vegetable garden early in July.
