Moshi, TZ – JGO family garden update – 29 March 2013
During the Tupendane team mentoring session in March, the JGO family focused on adding compost to their low “earth basin” beds in order to increase the plant food available for their garden.
The heavy rains in March have so far not harmed their garden, although the earth basin design that they used may cause nutrient loss from flooding. The family hope that the added compost can help preserve the soil during the rainy season, so that the garden can continue to thrive!
