Compost production increases

GP and RM  have increased their production of compost for the Garden Shop so that they can supply the organic garden program and compost sales to consumers.

Demand for organic products has increased in Cambodia because people are becoming more educated about the risks of consuming chemically grown food.

This means that the demand for natural fertilizers like compost is increasing.  The garden shop’s sales of compost have gone up 32% from September to October, with total amount sold being just under 1,000kg in October!  The shop expects sales to further increase in November.
