Utete, TZ – KCM’s motorcycle has opened hope for community families’ and children’s lives – Jan 2026

For a long time, the KCM team reaching project sites on time was a major challenge. Long distances are 6Km, poor roads, and limited transport slowed down visits to communities, schools, and families who depended on timely mentorship support.

That changed when the organization acquired a motorcycle through Better Lives’ support. The motorcycle made travel faster, more reliable, and more affordable, allowing the team to reach more families, schools, and children on time.

Today, this powerful tool has strengthened project monitoring, improved service delivery, and expanded the organization’s reach to now serve 4,214 children so that positive change happens more efficiently!

No more transport hiring to limit service time, instead it will be assisting whoever needs transport in the community to access community social services. KCM will eventually pay-off the loan, own the motorcycle, and continue to receive the tangible benefits it offers.

This motorcycle is more than transport because it is a bridge, which more easily connects community families and children, leaving a lasting hope and impact on their lives.
