Siem Reap, KH – Rent-to-Own home number 30 completed! – Jun 2025

Rey gives the Ret family their rent agreement for their new Rent-to-Own (RTO) house in the Peaksneng RTO community. It will be a safe and secure home for them. Ret is son of Sareun, who we assisted by building his family the first house in our Rent-to-Own (RTO) community in 2014.

Heartfelt words of gratitude have been spoken by Ret’s wife and his father Sareun, to Rey who manages the house building.

Ret’s wife said “Please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. We are forever grateful for your love, care, and commitment to our community in Peaksneng. You have shown us that goodness still exists in this world, and for that, we’re eternally grateful.”

Sareun said “I express my heartfelt gratitude for the profound impact you’ve had on my family, my son Ret, and my daugther Moum. Your kindness, generosity and dedication have changed our lives in ways that we never thought possible.

RTO homes enable children to focus on their schooling because they have a safe, comfortable and beautiful home. This has a major impact on their education and prospects. For many years, the RTO program of Better Lives and Peaksneng Thormacheat shop has transformed the lives of many families by providing training about growing their own food, then assisting them with loans to increase their income, followed by building quality, affordable and safe Rent-to-Own (RTO) homes.

Rey is very proud to share the success stories of those whose futures have been reshaped through the Peaksneng Thormacheat shop’s efforts.
