Programs

Education Sponsorship
United Women’s Friendship (UWF) provides full scholarships for 15 high-achieving students who cannot afford to continue their education. The organization seeks qualifying students from the top three schools in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The goal of the program is to help under-privileged girls achieve their dreams and enable them to give back to their communities.

Confidence and Self-Esteem
Along with paying education expenses for high-performing students, UWF also provides counseling to build girls’ confidence and self-esteem. This counseling is designed to help girls believe they can achieve their dreams and understand  how to avoid making mistakes that could cost them this ability.
