Moshi, TZ – MHK family garden – 5 Apr 2013

The LMK family recommended the MKH family because of their excitement about the LMK family’s vegetable garden.  They qualified for help building a garden, by having suitable land, a water supply and most importantly interest!  The Tupendane team helped them implement their organic vegetable garden during the week of 5 April.  The atmosphere was of complete hilarity because the father and mother could not stop making jokes and making everybody laugh hysterically.

The family decided to plant mung beans, kale, okra, cassava, and sweet potato in their garden and are looking forward to supplementing their diet with these healthy organically grown vegetables!

Mrs. MHK weaves baskets to sell at the market and she hopes that soon the baskets will be full of vegetables to bring to the market to sell also!
